It has now been almost five months since the first site cabin was placed at Skandia harbour, and the work is truly in full swing. With 120 employees and 1,500 piles in place, there is a lot to manage within the Skandia Gateway project.
Before the summer break, the demolition of the quay front began, along with the extraction and driving of piles, as well as piling and excavation within the terminal area. Necessary safety measures and environmental protections have been implemented to ensure smooth progress. The remaining tasks, including further development of the quay front and terminal area, will resume after the summer. Overall, the initial phase has proceeded according to plan, and the timeline remains on track as we take a summer break.
