Mikki Koskinen (M.Sc Econ.) has since 2013 been the Managing Director of Finnish-Swedish shipping company ESL Shipping Ltd, the leading carrier of dry bulk cargoes in the Baltic Sea with fleet of about 40 ice class 1A vessels.

Since January 2026, Mikki Koskinen is serving as President of European Shipowners ECSA. Mikki is also serving as Vice-chairman of the Board at the Finnish state-owned icebreaking and fairway maintenance company Arctia Oy.

Earlier, Mikki has served as the Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Shipowners’ Association in 2021-2023. From 2016 until summer 2024, Koskinen represented the Finnish Shipowners’ Association on the International Chamber of Shipping board.

Mikki’s key area of expertise is sustainable shipping and increasing efficiency in maritime supply chains.

Fabian Lindner is Business Development Coordinator at Valenz, where he leads all global activities related to sustainable methanol across the full value chain - from feedstock origination through to commercial sales.

With over a decade of experience in the petrochemical industry, including more than four years focused specifically on the methanol sector, Fabian has developed deep expertise in renewable and low‑carbon feedstocks, as well as in integrating sustainable methanol into existing fuel and chemical supply chains to help accelerate global decarbonisation pathways.

He works closely with producers and downstream customers worldwide to accelerate the deployment of sustainable methanol as a proven, immediately available low-carbon alternative - and to develop the supply chains that will continue to support the energy transition.

Romarin Maillard is Vice President Origination and Asset Management at Equinor, within Crude, Products and Liquids Trading, based in Stavanger, Norway.

He has more than 25 years of marketing and trading experience internationally for energy commodities spanning from natural gas, crude oil, refined products, LPG to emerging low‑carbon fuels.

In his current role, he leads Equinor’s liquids trading origination globally, including the development of low‑carbon fuels and in particular bio-methanol.

He is also responsible for the asset management of Equinor’s non‑operated storages portfolio for both conventional and low carbon liquids.

Prior to his current role, he held multiple leadership positions in energy marketing, trading and origination within Equinor in Singapore and Norway, as well as earlier roles in TotalEnergies and former Gaz de France,

He brings to this panel a pragmatic, market‑driven perspective on developing low‑carbon bunker fuels supplies to the various sectors but in particular to the maritime segment.

Background at Preem refinery in Lysekil since 1997. Head of operations at the refinery for 10 years. Last two years as manager for strategic business development focusing on renewable feedstocks and the transition towards climate neutrality. Now working with strategy and strategic partnerships at VAROPreem.

With a background in aerospace and wind power engineering, Matteo Vitale works at the intersection of energy, data and real-world constraints. Today, he drives Power-to-X project development, bridging engineering, commercial and financial domains to turn technical complexity into decisions that move projects forward.

David Mikal Knutsen is currently working on realizing battery-electric container vessel projects for Eitzen Electric. holds an MSc in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and National University of Singapore (NUS), and an Executive MBA in Strategic Management from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and is based in Oslo, Norway.

As Head of Gotland Tech Development, Mikael is working with the energy transition of Gotlandsbolagets ferry business. He holds a research background with a Ph.D in Naval Architecture and has since been working with government maritime projects, leading research projects, and sustainable technology for shipping. Before joining Gotlandsbolaget Mikael was a part of starting the Swedish wingsail company Oceanbird and acting as Techical Director.

Daniel Gent was appointed in February 2026 to lead the marine fuels transition for Soya Group, which partly owns United European Car Carriers (UECC), Wallenius Wilhelmsen and Wallenius Sol. Previously, he worked for UECC for 18 years, was responsible for the companies fuel purchasing and sustainability initiatives. He began his career as a deck cadet with Maersk and also worked as a bunker trader for World Fuel Services.

Carolina Wisten is the Director of Customer and Markets for Business unit gas at Nordion Energi AB, a Swedish energy infrastructure group operating, amongst other infrastructure, the transmission gas grid and the largest distribution gas grid in Sweden. As such, Carolina is a key actor in making the Swedish gas system greener and more resilient, by enabling biogas producers to connect to the grid as well as opening up new markets for biogas use in Sweden.

Carolina has been working with customers and the energy market since 2011, as Managing Director for Ørsted Sweden, and since 2020 at her current position at Nordion Energi. Carolina believes that strong partnerships between customers and infrastructure owners can unlock potential to realize business and environmental goals.

Andreas holds a Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Science (PhD) in Chemical Engineering with a focus on fuel cells from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Business Administration degree from Stockholm University. 20 years of international experience in research, development and commercialization of fuel cells — from roles at KTH and Volvo Technology to senior positions within PowerCell Group.

Johan Byskov Svendsen is a geologist with a scientific background dating back to 1997.
He holds a PhD in Geochemistry and Statistics, awarded in 2001.

Over more than 15 years, he worked in oil and gas exploration and development projects, primarily in the North Sea.
His experience includes serving as asset manager for several operated platforms.

From 2019 to 2021, he contributed to the development of Carbon Capture and Storage in Denmark.
During this period, he helped elevate CCS from an academic niche to a core national climate measure.
He led the maturation of Denmark’s first CO₂ storage site, Project Greensand, into the demonstration phase.
Following this milestone, he shifted focus toward the decarbonization of maritime transport.

He currently serves as Head of Energy System Transition at the Mærsk Mc‑Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping.
In this role, he leads multiple Green Corridor projects supporting first movers in global shipping decarbonization.

Started my career in the Swedish Royal Navy and Helicopter Wing in the early nineties.

After approx. 15 years it was time to enter in to shipping and business. I joined the Bunker Holding group, Bunker One 2005 and has since 2018 been the Managing director for Sweden. 2025 we formed Bunker One Europe, and I am very happy to be a part of developing the region together with my colleagues cross Europe from UK, DK,GE, SW all the way into the Baltics.

Edvard Molitor is the Head of International Public Affairs & Sustainability in the Port of Gothenburg, He represents the port authority within global organizations and associations on matters related to sustainability and environment.

Since 2024 Mr Molitor is the Chairman of the Climate & Energy Committee of the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), the main representation of the port community within the International Maritime Organization. He is also heavily involved in EU matters, working with the European SeaPorts Organisation.

Mr Molitor holds a M.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering from Uppsala University and has previously worked at the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) and the Swedish Coast Guard Headquarters.
