Gothenburg is also the natural intersection between three of Scandinavia's capitals where several European roads converge. In just 3-4 hours, one can reach Oslo and Copenhagen by truck. Situated at the mouth of the Göta Älv river, the Port of Gothenburg is also a hub for short sea shipping, with traffic from both the inland and surrounding coastal areas.
